Coleraine Driving Lessons

causeway-coastIf you are looking for Coleraine Driving Lessons or indeed driving lessons in surrounding areas then Thelma’s Driving School Coleraine is for you. During our time teaching pupils like you we have tried to answer some of the common questions we get asked. If you can’t see an answer do not hesitate to contact Thelma and we will be happy to help.

How Do I Apply for a Provisional License?

You will need to visit your local MOT Test centre (Coleraine) or a post office and ask for a DL1 form. You can fill it out and then you must enclose a passport style photograph (These can be obtained at the photo booth in Asda, Coleraine). You also must enclose original documents. This is described on the form. Finally the fee currently is £62.50. All of this must go to Coleraine County Hall who process your application.

How Many Driving lessons do I need?

This depends on individual circumstances and experience. We would find that some pupils have had road experience as they may have had a scooter before taking lessons. Naturally the tuition time might be shorter due to this. Everybody is different and after your first few lessons you will get a feel for the vehicle and it will be much easier to estimate at that stage.

Can You Help Me With My Theory?theory-test-tuition-coleraine

Yes. We can and have done this many times for other pupils. We know theory inside out so sometimes people find it quicker to ask us questions and get the answer. We also have books and the hazard perception disk if needed. We have helped many pupils pass their theory tests after receiving tuition from Thelma’s Driving School Coleraine.

Do You Do Weekend Lessons?

Yes. We do! Thelma’s Driving School will try to accommodate you if you have work commitments etc. We can even pick you up from work, school, college or university if needed locally.
